Somnium’s west-facing estate vineyard sits 1300 feet above sea level, where rocky mountain soils and nuanced microclimates produce velvety soft Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. From these CCOF-certified organic grapes, acclaimed winemaker Julien Fayard crafts Somnium’s flagship: a varietally pure Estate Cabernet Sauvignon. To perfect the Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon and the Rosé, Somnium seeks out additional varieties from selected Napa Valley sites to complement estate-grown Cabernet. Somnium’s singular white wine, an elegant Sauvignon Blanc, is sourced entirely from the prized McGah Vineyard in Rutherford.
