Memento Mori
Founded in 2010 by three childhood friends, Adriel Lares, Hayes Drumwright, and Adam Craun, Memento Mori specializes in premium Cabernet Sauvignon crafted from a collection of Napa Valley's most acclaimed vineyards – Beckstoffer Dr. Crane, Beckstoffer Las Piedras, Weitz Vineyard, Oakville Ranch and Vine Hill Ranch – all vetted over time, technique and by other elite producers. Named after an ancient Latin philosophy that reminds us of our mortality, but after experiencing some serious health scares and family tragedies throughout the founders' friendship, Memento Mori is instead interpreted as "Remember to Live." This shared mantra is a reminder that since nothing in life is guaranteed, we need to embrace it, while also taking risks along the way in order to experience the greatest rewards.
Wines
Memento Mori wines are made available via allocation throughout the year in extremely limited quantities. In addition to our Flagship Cabernet Sauvignon, our portfolio of wines feature three single-vineyards from Beckstoffer Dr. Crane, Beckstoffer Las Piedras, and Vine Hill Ranch. Allocations of these rare wines are rewarded to mailing list collectors with an active purchase history.
