Phifer Pavitt Wine + Spirits
With a dedication to their weekly Date Nights, Phifer Pavitt Wine is the realization of a dream of Georgia-born Suzanne Phifer Pavitt and her Southern California raised husband, Shane Pavitt, who for nearly 20 years have crafted small production wines at their estate in Calistoga. The winery is truly unique and embraces a commitment to sustainability with nearly every furnishing and fixture repurposed, from the iconic 19th century board-and-batten barn, to the insulation using 100% post-consumable recycled blue jeans, as well as the interior appointments, many designed by Suzanne. Tastings are held at our floating tasting bar, a 100-year old, 2,000 lb slab of fallen black walnut, suspended from the ceiling.
Wines
As a Napa Green Certified Vineyard and Winery, the focus is on sustainable winemaking and responsible farming. Each of our wines are organically and sustainably farmed, with our flagship DATE NIGHT wines sourced from the same family-owned vineyards since the first vintage of Cabernet Sauvignon in 2005. Our DATE NIGHT Sauvignon Blanc followed in 2011 and over the years, the family of wines has grown, adding our DATE NIGHT Blanc de Noirs Sparkling, and a limited selection of Reserve wines each produced at our Calistoga Estate.
