Vice Versa
Founded by French Canadian vintner Patrice Breton in 2003, Vice Versa Wine crafts coveted small-lot, single-vineyard, wines from Napa Valley's most highly acclaimed vineyards. Art, culture, and history are at the core of the pure, yet bold expressions of Vice Versa's limited-production wines. A celebration of intensity, beauty, purity, and balance in wine.
Wines
In late 2019, Vice Versa purchased its first estate vineyard located in Napa Valley's Calistoga where they plan to break ground on a new winery by the end of 2022. Vice Versa sources predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from some of the most exalted vineyards in California, if not the world, celebrated for their unrivaled power and unmistakable terroir. This includes fruit from dedicated lots at four legendary vineyards owned by the Beckstoffer family: Beckstoffer To Kalon, arguably the most revered site in all Napa; Beckstoffer Dr. Crane, one of the valley's true first-growth vineyards; Beckstoffer Las Piedras, and the historic Beckstoffer Georges III, first purchased by Beaulieu founder Georges de Latour nearly a century ago. Moreover, Vice Versa also sources from the brilliant Ecotone Vineyard, the historic Steltzner Vineyards in the Stags Leap District and Platt, a spectacular high elevation Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir and Chardonnay vineyard.
